Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain - Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is the most frequently visited by tourists. Its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Beams or shafts of direct sunlight radiating down from openings are much more common in Upper than in Lower.

Covering a 3 mile in total of walking (around 2 hour walking totally) there and back from the canyon to the STARTING POINT area. This is all hiking and there is NO shuttle transportation. Upper Antelope Canyon Trail will have shaded areas every quarter of a mile and water stations along the way to the Canyon to refill your bottles or jug containers.
