During this private tour you will visit Lake Sevan, the pearl of our mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. See Sevanavank monastic complex, located on the peninsula, overlooking the whole beauty of the lake. Currently a religious seminary functions here which is not readily open to the public. Afterwards the route heads to Dilijan, also called "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. The city is part of the Dilijan National Park. You will stop at the 10th century Haghartsin monastery, which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visiting it.

Haghpat Monastery, Sanahin Monastery Akhtala Day Tour in Armenia
The nature and sights of the Lori region always attract numerous tourists. Today we will get acquainted with some of the beautiful sights of Lori. The first shortstop will be at the «Gntunik» food court in Aparan, where we can have breakfast or do some necessary shopping.
During the tour, we will visit Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries, Mendz Er cave, the famous Sanahin ancient bridge, Alaverdi town, Surb Astvatsatsin Monastery in Akhtala, Akhtala fortress and Aramyants castle. Haghpat Monastery, one of the largest monastic complexes in Armenia, is located 6 km away from the Sanahin Monastery in Haghpat village. The Akhtala fortress is supposed to have been founded in the 10th century by the Bagratuni-Kyurikyans princely family ruling this area until the end of the 12th century.
The last stop of the tour is the castle of Maecenas Aramyants. It was built in the Swiss style. The Declaration on the establishment of the First Republic of Armenia was adopted here. Total distance is 400 km

Wine Region Car Tour in Yerevan
We set off to the highest mountain in Armenia – Aragats. Along the way, we will be accompanied by breathtaking landscapes.
We will make a stop at the Amberd Fortress at an altitude of 2300 meters. You will see stone structures, including a 7th-century castle and an 11th-century church. As you stroll around, you will appreciate not only the ancient architecture but also the surrounding mountain expanses.
Next, we arrive at the southern slope of Aragats, at the Byurakan Observatory. You will visit the interior and be able to view stars, planets, and other celestial bodies through powerful telescopes. Our astronomer guides will answer all your questions.
If desired, the itinerary can include a stop at one of the local gastro yards or wineries, where you will learn about grape cultivation and wine production from local experts, and also taste different varieties.
