The electric motor helps with the uphill climb, but it remains a real mountain experience : 900–1,400 meters in altitude in ascent and descent to 30–45 km, depending on the route, weather and group. You need basic fitness and safe cycling, but not trail skills.
The weather in the mountains can change quickly : even in summer 5 °C, rain and wind are possible. Be sure to bring sturdy shoes, layers and wind/rain jacket.
