Xunantunich, Cave tubing and Ziplining from Belize City
This Xunantunich, cave tubing, and ziplining tour brings together three defining landscapes of western and central Belize in one meaningful progression. Cross the Mopan River on the hand-cranked ferry and enter Xunantunich, where plazas, palaces, carved friezes, and El Castillo reveal the scale and sophistication of an ancient Maya city. Your guide explains rulership, ceremony, astronomy, and regional connections so the ruins become more than impressive stonework. Continue to Nohoch Che’en near Frank’s Eddy, where the Cave Branch River flows through limestone chambers beneath the rainforest. After floating underground by headlamp, change viewpoints once again on a guided zipline course above the forest floor. The uniqueness comes from how the day moves through history and landscape: from a Maya city on a limestone ridge, to a river beneath the earth, to the living canopy overhead. The result is a full Belize experience with cultural depth, natural discovery, and active adventure.

Instead, ride with a professional limo driver dedicated to only one thing -- your safety. Take a deep and meaningful dive into our culture with a top-flight guide, who accompanies you inside the limo, faces you, eye to eye, answering all your questions and catering to all your needs. Xunantunich and In land Blue Hole from Placencia
This Xunantunich and Inland Blue Hole tour connects two remarkable features shaped by Belize’s limestone landscape. Begin with the hand-cranked ferry across the Mopan River and climb to Xunantunich, an ancient Maya city built on a natural limestone ridge. Walk through ceremonial plazas while your guide explains the palaces, carved friezes, El Castillo, Maya rulership, astronomy, and the city’s regional connections. At St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park, the setting changes from monumental architecture to dense tropical vegetation and a naturally turquoise freshwater pool that forms part of an underground river system. The contrast is refreshing, but the two places also share a deeper geological story. The same limestone environment that supported Xunantunich’s dramatic setting helps shape Belize’s caves, underground water, and natural pools. The result is a Placencia day trip with variety and a clear connection between human and geological history.
