From here, you will reach a junction, leading up two rock sections via ladders to the crest of the southeast ridge. Near the summit, the final stretch involves a short scramble and one last ladder before reaching the 669-metre peak. From the top of Lion's Head, you'll be rewarded with spectacular 360-degree views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. As the light changes, you'll witness the city gradually come alive as its lights switch on at sunset, or watch them fade away at sunrise, creating an unforgettable panorama. A headlamp is provided whenever required. The descent follows the same route and takes around 60 minutes.
