The Fundació Cabanas was created to preserve the “Cal Gerrer” building and publicize the ceramics of the Arpí family, the Arxiu Marilyn Monroe, and the work of the Cabanas-Alibau brothers.
The headquarters of the Cabanes Foundation is located in the old ceramic factory “Fábrica de Productes Cerámics de Arpí”, popularly known as “Cal Gerrer”. This unique building houses a room for temporary exhibitions and three permanent ones.
This old ceramic factory, currently the only ceramic house-factory in the entire Spanish state, allows you to get acquainted with ceramic products made by Arpí potters.
