Montserrat, Wine & Gourmet Lunch with Views from Barcelona
A premium full-day Catalan tour combining Montserrat and a gourmet lunch. The morning is spent visiting the Monastery, the Basilica and the Black Madonna with a local guide; the afternoon is a three-course meal at Bages 964 restaurant, with unique, amazing panoramic views of the Montserrat massif.
The day begins with a guided visit of Montserrat, a mountain sanctuary that has welcomed pilgrims for over a thousand years. You will explore the Monastery and the Basilica with your local guide and visit the throne of La Moreneta (the Black Madonna), patroness of Catalonia, without waiting in queue.
The tour then heads into the Catalan wine country to Bages 964, a gourmet restaurant surrounded by the vineyards of the D.O. Pla de Bages, with a 10th-century medieval castle and its historic winery within the same area. The lunch is a three-course menu — starter, main course and dessert with options to choose from — with 2 glasses of Catalan wine (red or white) per person included.

-A Brief History of Champagne Sabrage (Modern day Cava Sabering!)
-Technique on cava sabering, safety controls etc.
-Live demonstration with a glass or two of cava for each participant
