Cretan Stories – A Journey Through History and Tradition
When History meets art and craft. This excursion is for those who want to discover Crete from Rethymnon without a long way driving in bus.
We start from the most important monastery of Crete:
The Historical Monastery of Arkadi.
Afterward, you will enjoy a guided tour to the pottery workshop “TSIKALARIO", where Mrs Helen will show us the art of pottery.
Right after, in a 2 km distance only, you will visit Margarites village where you will have free time for a lunch or a walk.
After that, we will visit Melidoni Vilage and explore Melidoni cave at an altitude of 220 meters. You will discover an amazing cave filled full with stalactites and stalagmites, but also full of History.
At the end of the tour we will visit a traditional olive oil mill, where you’ll have free time to learn about olive oil production and enjoy a tasting of premium Cretan olive oil.
Private Sailing Cruise to Dia Island with Meal & Water Activities
Sail with us to the exotic Dia Island on our large and comfortable sailing yachts. Our journey begins at the Heraklion Old venetian port.
After 1 hour of sailing, we arrive to Dia where we anchor in the bay of the island.
There you can enjoy the crystal waters and water activities such as snorkeling, fishing and paddle boarding. (Please request the equipment from the Crew). The standup paddle boards are not available under rough wind conditions for safety reasons.
About 1 hour later our delicious menu is served and includes Greek salad and several appetizers, while the main course is shrimp Linguini (we also offer vegetarian and gluten free versions of the menu upon request). You can also accompany your meal with the finest wine, beer, ice tea or soft drinks.
Around 30 minutes later our fruit salad of tropical and local fruits is served. After you finish your meal you will have a few last moments of relaxation on the yacht or in the refreshing water before we sail back to Heraklion.

You can rent our boats for 1 or more full days of rental.
If you do not have a licence, the only boat you can rent and captain yourself is the 30hp boat.
The 30hp boat can take up to 6 persons (adults or children) and is equipped with a sunshade.
For a full day rental (Sfakia and Marathi), the 30hp boat is available from 09h00 (or later if you prefer) and bring it back at sunset (or earlier if you prefer) the same day.
In Sfakia only you can also bring it back at the latest 08h30 the following morning (for the same price).
From Sfakia you can easily explore the south coast all the way along to Agia Roumeli (village at the end of Samaria gorge, no roads!) and also the remote and beautiful beaches and villages (Agios Pavlos, Marmara marble beach, Loutro fishing village again no roads!), Sweet water Glyka Nera beach and Illingas beach - the options are many, you will not get bored! Crete: Elafonisi – 4 hours in the beach
Elafonisi Beach, located on the southwest coast of Crete, is one of the island’s most breathtaking natural wonders. • Upon arrival, visitors will have to walk for about 15 minutes from the bus parking area to reach the beach.
