What makes my truffle hunting adventure unique? It od a real truffle hunt, not just a demonstration. Guests experience authentic truffle hunting in the forest together with trained dogs. We also keep our groups small — a maximum of 10 people — to ensure a more personal, intimate, and authentic experience.
Truffle is an unusual subterranean fungus. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). Both of these can be found in the Motovun forest located in the valley of the Mirna River. Even though truffles can be found elsewhere, Motovun truffles are considered to be of the highest quality.

4 Hour Quad Buggy ATV Mountain Adventure in Starigrad
The quad tour of four hours contains beautiful views of the entire Zadar archipelago and the Zadar hinterland. We climb to 1100 m above sea level with a few breaks for photography. Driving over the most beautiful mountain road in Croatia, Majstorska cesta, we pass by the church of St. Francis dating from 1832. Also, we pass the locations where films about the Indian chief Winnetou were made. Continuing the ride, we can see windmills up close, after which we arrive at the viewpoint of the canyon of the river Zrmanja, then we return mostly on macadam. Swimming inside the park is prohibited since it would disrupt the harmony of the ecosystem but worry not.
