This is the first paragliding course degree in the APPI Education System. The student learns how to install and control the wing on the ground (’Ground Skimming’) and have his/her first solo flight experience. At this level, the student is allowed to fly ONLY with radio communication and under an Instructor’s supervision.
2 Day Cayambe Summit Adventure Climb
When was the last time you challenged yourself? Climb the Cayambe (5790m) – the the third highest volcano in Ecuador! Cayambe is a massive extinct volcano. The peak is Ecuadors third largest and the third highest in the Americas north of the Equator. It is also the highest point on the Equator line (4600m) on the south side. Although technically not very difficult it is a little bit more challenging than Cotopaxi. Snow storms and high winds are more frequent on Cayambe than on many other peaks.
