This unique guided walking tour takes you from Freedom Square to the Upper Town, where you can admire breathtaking views and discover some of Tallinn’s oldest and most prestigious sights. Your guide will share fascinating stories and legends about these landmarks, some of which date back nearly a thousand years.
As you descend from Toompea Hill, the medieval cobblestone streets lead you to the very heart of the city – Town Hall Square, home to several record-breaking sights.
During the walk, your guide will offer recommendations for local cafés and restaurants. You’ll also receive insider tips on handmade Estonian souvenirs and other places to explore in the city.
Please note that this tour includes climbing some stairs and walking on uneven surfaces (cobblestones). It is not recommended to bring large items, such as suitcases, with you.
Tallinn Top Attractions and Viimsi Open Air Museum
If your goals is to get an overview of Tallinn, its surroundings, coasts and top attractions, this tour is perfect for you. Start with discovering Tallinn’s jewel and main highlight – the Medieval Old Town. Together with colourful legends, we will introduce you to the gabled houses, churches and squares that developed here between the 13th and 15th centuries. The tour then continues to the leafy Kadriorg district. It is a park area that is home to amazing wooden villas, art museums and a baroque palace built for Russian Tsar Peter the Great. It continues onward to the Pirita beach area, where you will get a glimpse of the mysterious ruins of a 15th-century convent and the city’s soviet-era TV tower. After lunch break you will visit the Open Air Museum in Viimsi which is a complex of seaside-farmhouses over 150 years old, which is located in a picturesque coastal village. It is a relaxing location and the best place to admire the famous silhouette of Tallinn.

Lahemaa National Park is the best to learn about our love of nature because it is the biggest and the most diverse one.
It also accumulates a great variety of natural trails, local seamen villages, and nobility manors.
On our way to Lahemaa, we will make brief stops at burial ancient mounds of 800BC, a waterfall, a windmill, a cozy stronghold, etc.

The bogs are places very dear to all Estonians and have been part of our culture for centuries. Therefore one mustn’t leave Estonia before visiting a bog. The bog-shoe hiking in a bog takes you to places what otherwise would be inaccessible. We hike around the bog pools, admire the wildlife, climb the watch-tower and listen to mysterious stories and legends our tour guides tell about the bogs. Bog-shoe hike is doable all year round and offers different discoveries every season. Have an unforgettable adventure in Estonia and come to a bog-shoe hike in the picturesque Kõnnu Suursoo.

Tallinn Old Town Audio Tour
Tallinn’s Old Town is one of Europe’s most intact medieval cities, with its limestone walls, towers, and merchant houses largely still standing as they did 700 years ago. On this self-guided audio tour, you’ll trace Estonia’s turbulent history from Hanseatic trading hub to Soviet occupation. The tour starts at Fat Margaret Tower, a squat, thick-walled fortification that once guarded Tallinn’s harbor. From the Patkuli and Kohtuotsa viewpoints, you’ll look out over red rooftops, church towers, and the Baltic Sea beyond, before descending through the Danish King’s Garden, St. Catherine’s Passage, and the Town Hall Square.
