Back-country skiing is both a fascinating sport and an age-old,
environmentally friendly way of getting around in Arctic conditions.
On our back-country skiing adventure, we use specialist skis that represent the newest innovation in Finnish wilderness exploration. These skis enable us to move away from known tracks and head directly into the deeper snow.
The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will share his knowledge in landscape and nature photography, so you can get the photos you desire. Expect some unforgettable landscapes and opportunities for photography! If we get lucky, we might also encounter some wildlife.
During this journey in nature, we will find a place for us to build a fire and prepare some light snacks on the open fire.

Enjoy a fun day at Lake Rahajärvi, just ten minutes north of Ivalo village, where you'll learn the basics of traditional winter fishing and indulge in a delicious meal!

Arctic Circle Highlights Family Day
Your day will start with transfer to the farm, where you will be able to ride your own reindeer sledge in a brief, 500m long ride. Your newly learned skills will be rewarded with a Reindeer Sledge Driver’s License!
Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies where you will find these beautiful, loyal, and energetic companions. Experience the Alaskan Huskies in action on a 500m long sleigh ride.
Enjoy a traditional salmon soup lunch during your visit and listen to the local reindeer herders as they tell you more about the herding lifestyle and how it is to be a reindeer herder in the 21st century.
After the farm visit, you will be taken to the Santa Claus Village where you will have some free time to explore at your own pace. You have the opportunity to experience the Christmas atmosphere, step across the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and children under 150cm can try mini snowmobiling for 10 minutes on our mini-track. Your day will conclude with drop-off back to Rovaniemi.

When the jingle bells are ringing, you can get into the Christmas spirit even in the middle of summer. SCV's special surroundings and a Finnhorse glowing in freezing temperatures will take you back in time.

Ivalo: Reindeer herd and fishing experience
Spend a day as a real reindeer herder and explore the wilderness by experiencing Finnish winter fishing methods. Join us to feed the large reindeer herd in their natural habitat.
We'll take you into the forest seated in a snowmobile sleigh to feed a large herd of reindeer in their natural habitat. After this, you'll have the chance to try traditional winter fishing methods, such as fishing with nets under the ice and ice fishing!
We'll enjoy a homemade lunch on an open fire in the wilderness. The lunch includes creamy reindeer soup, salmon soup or a vegan wild mushroom soup, served with cold water and homemade hot berry juice.
Helsinki to Tallinn and Back Ferry Ride
This ferry is the most convenient and efficient way to visit Tallinn — departing from Helsinki in the morning, not too early but not too late, arriving in Tallinn at 11:15 AM and giving you six hours of free time to explore the Old Town. You’ll return to Helsinki early enough to catch a train or flight the same evening if you are departing that day.

Private: Snowshoeing Safari in spectacular National Park
Welcome to our Snowshoeing tour in the most beautiful National Park in Lapland! We will go where the snow is deepest and try to stay off the beaten path. This way we will get to experience the calm nature, beautiful Lapland landscapes and the real purpose of snowshoes.
We will end our tour on a small barbeque at a campfire with some hot drinks and sausages.
The tour will start by our guide picking you up from your accommodation in Levi area. We will then drive approximately 45 minutes on a private 4x4 truck to the National Park. We will hike in the deep snow for approximately 30-90 minutes depending on your group preferences. We can also save some time for sledging/playing in the snow if your group wants. After that, we will have a nice small barbeque on a campfire. Then a short walk back to the car and we will head back to your accommodation.

Leaving from the Redrib Hub at Cafe Marina Bay, Kanavaranta 4, we check the REDRIB Helsinki Experience 1 sights. Suomenlinna, Löyly, ice breakers, the Helsinki archipelago. During an island stop you can take a 1 hour walk around Vallisaari former military islands, now open to the public. There are cafés and good info signs along the way for a self-guided walking tour.
Nature has been remarkably well preserved on these city oases. Nature is never far away in Finland.

Electric Fatbike Trip to the Reindeer Farm
Enjoy a complete visit of an authentic reindeer farm, meet the herders and their animals, learn about their lifestyles and reindeer husbandry. As it is the first visit of the day, you will also get the chance to feed the reindeers with some of their favourite food directly from your hands. This is a great chance to approach the animals too, as reindeer are still very wild. After the feeding time, herders will take you in a kota, a traditional wooden house, to explain you more about their lifestyle around the fire. Cookies and hot drinks will also be served, as the herders answer all your questions.
