Volterra and San Gimignano: a taste of medieval Tuscany!
Hi !
About 90% of tourists usually head straight to Pisa and Florence – and yes, they’re amazing – but this tour offers something a little different. It’s a bit more off the beaten path (especially Volterra), and it's a real treat to explore the heart of Tuscany through these two charming villages.
Give this experience a try: you won’t regret it!
You’ll travel in a comfortable Mercedes van, with a driver/guide who will explain what you're seeing throughout the day.
The standard departure time is 8:30am, but it can be customized to fit your schedule.

Your driver will delight you with live commentary on board about Tuscany, general information about the places you’ll visit and will tell you what is worth to be visited in every place where you stop. Tour of Chianti for small groups departing from Florence or surroundings
I want to point out that we are all professional licensed drivers, some also licensed tour leaders, able to help you with commentary about visited places, informations, directions and any kind of advices to help you to enjoy your holiday at best. So you won't buy just a "transportation", despite the driver doesn’t do guided tours in towns or monumental areas. Moreover, all vehicles have a registered licence for professional use, that allows us to enter in restricted areas, run on preferential lanes in town, a special insurance and are checked by the law every year on the mechanical components.

Vintage Sidecar Motorcycle Tour of Florence - The Highlights of the City
The best way to ride in Florence and surrounding hills? With a vintage "motocarrozzetta" (motorcycle sidecar), no doubt. It's the only way to experience the Oltrarno area, Michelangelo square and terrace, San Miniato church and hills behind it, including Arcetri where Galileo Galilei spent his last years in Florence.
Perfect to take videos and pictures of the hidden corners of the city and from the panoramic points. Much more comfortable and safe than a scooter, enjoying the breeze not being in a car or minivan!
The best way to catch both sides of the city: it's old districts (i.e. San Niccolò, the bohemian one...) and the countryside landscape around it.
Our personal suggestion is to book it for your first day in Florence, so to have a complete introduction to it...
VERY IMPORTANT: please remember that we ride old vintage motorcycles sidecar and we might refuse bookings due to weight limit.
