Panoramic hike on Marseille from Les Calanques
We will cross the southern districts of Marseille and talk about its most remarkable symbols. To honour their memory, Get-a-guide is offering a “Taylor-made tour”. If you had a British relative who fought during this terrible battle; we will be pleased to research his service and design a full-day tour going in his footsteps. This includes visits to the major First World War sites in the Somme; such “Lochnagar Crater”, Thiepval Memorial of the missing and Newfoundland Memorial Park. As this work takes time, the tour can only be booked between now and the end of March, before the busy guiding season begins.
