Six day French Cooking Course in Brittany
French Dining School offers full five day intensive hands on cooking course in French and modern European cuisine in Brittany France. Learn the skills of the master-chef and enjoy producing delicious gourmet level dishes under the guidance of a Michelin trained chef. You will work with the chef to produce over thirty dishes including lunch and dinner each day (except Thursday lunch). You will learn a wide range of skills and techniques including sauce making, baking, working with meats, vegetables, fish, seafood, pairing wines, baking breads, desserts, ice creams, smoking fish, making canapés, wine tastings, table layout. Afternoon Champagne visit & tasting class near Epernay
Be welcomed at 4:00pm in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House in the middle of Champagne vineyards (Le Clos Corbier). During the visit to the cellars dug in the 1850’s, you will start with the discovery of a traditional press and learn all about the secrets of the champagne making process.
Take a seat and enjoy your tasting class with a champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you blindly identify 3 different Champagnes from the family including one Grand Cru Vintage. You will enjoy some local sweet treats and finger food paired with your champagnes !
