This is an adventure tour in the mountains from Batumi. We are the pioneers in Ajara making winter hikes. The tour starts from Batumi. We meet travellers at the pickup location and drive towards the mountains of Ajara. After an hour of driving, we will reach our destination from where we start snow hiking to the mountain top. We will use snowshoes if necessary. In the evening we will return to Batumi. Our vehicle is a comfortable 4X4 minivan.

we will pick you up from Liberty square and move towards Gudauri. Your first stop will be at the Ananuri complex a former residence of Argveti Dukes and beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Continue our drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merge. We will then drive over the Cross pass and make a short stop at Soviet time “People’s Friendship” mountain-viewpoint in Gudauri. overlooking a deep gorge of the Caucasus mountain range. Afterward, you will move towards Kazbegi. To reach Gergeti church which is located 2200m above sea level. We have to change our vehicle to a four-wheel-drive car and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kazbegi. After Gergeti church we will go to Rooms restaurant and Veranda for lunch.

This day you can visit Gudauri skiing resort for snow activities and beautiful scenic views on the way, also historical and architectural monuments, UNESCO protected sites. As it is a full day tour it is better to start the tour early morning at 8 or 9 am. We shall arrive in Tbilisi in evening around 7 pm. Visit of Jinvali Dam for photo taking, optional, 5-10 minutes with driving time 1 hour. Visit of Ananuri fortress for sightseeing and photo taking, optional, 30 minutes. With driving time 1 hour. Gudauri is our main place of this day where we stay most of the time around 2-3 hours. We shall walk in Gudauri skiing resort where you can have different snow activities and photo taking of the highest snowy mountains and hilltops. You can have a lunch of the way to back to Tbilisi in the village Passanauri riverside If you would like the skiing and snow activities if you have to book in Winter only: January-February-March. Activities are for extra fee.

Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe The ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta - should be first in the list of mandatory visits. The old city, founded in the middle of the 1st millennium BC at the confluence of two rivers - Aragvi and Mtkvari, is full of samples of ancient architecture. Near the city of Gori, there is a cave city Uplistsikhe carved into the rock near the Mtkvari River. The city has kept the remains of architectural and religious buildings built over several millennia, and is waiting for the inquisitive people. Uplistsikhe is the most important monument of Georgian culture, because its unique structure allowed to preserve buildings dating from 2-1 millennium BC. Some parts of the city are still not studied. Layers of eras, are preserved thanks to the unique design of caves in the rock: wine cellars, bakeries, ancient theater and reception hall. - The cave city Uplistsikhe, was a cult center for the ancient man until the 19th century AD.

Early in the morning we will drive through the beautiful mountains of the Caucasus, we will cross the Zhinvali reservoir, pass the bear in Shatil, on the way we will see many waterfalls and viewpoints with panoramic views and local medieval towers in Shatil and Mutso.

Amazing tour is waiting for you in a city of wine. We start a trip with a small town of Sighnaghi referred as a "city of love". It is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Kakheti. Next we go to Bodbe and see the ancient monastery of St. Nino (IX-XVIII centuries). Further we will go to Gurjaani, famous for its wineries. We will visit the ancient local wine cellar of the 17th-18th century, where you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the ancient traditions of winemaking, participate in the process and taste the home-made wine. You will also take part in making "churchkhela", a traditional delicacy made from nuts, almonds or raisins. During lunch, you can taste unique local cuisine. After lunch, we are going to visit the castle of the famous Georgian poet of the XIX century, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali, where you can take a walk in the beautiful garden, visit the winery and taste the local wine. Return to Tbilisi.
