Elafonisi is an oblong, which often”breaks” in two parts by water giving the impression of being a separate island and a “Natura 2000” protected area. The island is full of dunes with sand lilies and junipers (like-cedar trees). The endangered turtles Caretta-Caretta and several rare animals nest on the island and it is strictly forbidden to remove any plants, animals from the area. Exotic beach with white sand and turquoise waters, reminding of the Caribbean, are formed on either sides of the peninsula. The sand is pinkish in many places, taking its color from thousands of broken shells. The tour unfolds to discover 2 wineries on the eastern part of the island for a total of 8 wine tastings, 3 of which are organic.
The terrain of Paros is varied in terms of rocky substrate, the Aegean Sea and the Cycladic winds play an important role in the typicality of the wines.
There will be a total of 8 wine tastings accompanied by snacks such as olives, cheeses, cured meats and fresh vegetables directly from the producers' gardens.
In one of the cellars there will also be a walk through the vineyards.
At each stop the staff will be at your disposal for all the necessary explanations and will answer all the questions or curiosities that our guests wish to ask.
