Takehara Historical Townscape & Rabbit Island
Located within Hiroshima prefecture, Takehara is a charming and beautiful city on the coast of the Seto Inland Sea. In the past, Takehara flourished as a port town known for its sake and salt production. Today, many buildings dating as far back as the Edo period can still be found in the city, preserved in such a way that one can feel as though they are walking through streets in the past.
Takehara is also home to Rabbit Island, a unique place in which people can interact with the many wild rabbits which inhabit it. While feeding rabbits and taking adorable pictures with them are undoubtedly the most popular activities there, visitors can also go for a stroll, hike, or bicycle ride around the island to enjoy its great natural beauty. Additionally, Rabbit Island has a "dark" past which can be discovered by exploring the ruins found throughout it.

With this plan, you can choose your favorite kimono or yukata from about 200 kimonos! It includes everything you need for dressing, such as obi and clogs.
After visiting the store, you can upgrade to another plan!
It is a selfie studio that uses the same authentic photography equipment as professionals and shoots with a remote control shutter.
There are no photographers.

We will meet at Hiroshima Station. Once we are all there, we will visit the Hiroshima Peace Monument. In this place we will find an extensive memorial park with exhibitions and buildings that pay tribute to the victims of this bloody episode of World War II. Notable among them is Genbaku's famous Dome, which recalls the impact of the atomic bomb.
You will then have free time to eat, on your own, at an area restaurant.
The tour will continue to Miyajimaguchi Pier. There, we board a ferry to Miyajima Island. In a few minutes we will arrive at our destination to walk through the Itsukushima Shrine, the Grand Torii, the Goju-no-to Pagoda and the Toyokuni Temple.
