4 hours long private minivan tour in Budapest
Our 4 hours long minivan tour is a classical sightseeing tour: we will show you all the „mandatory” sights from Heroes square to Buda Castle district, from the Citadel to the State Opera House. You will not just see the key sights of both Buda and Pest but you will learn a lot about the Hungarian history and culture as well. We will do our best that by the end of the sightseeing tour you have a better understanding of the Hungarian capital and the local people as well.
Comprehensive sightseeing tour
Why not discover the famous sites of Budapest in a more measured and comprehensive way. We try to see everything that is important in the adjoining cities. We go up and down to the city of Budapest from the bustling Inner city of Pest, and the Parliament building to the the Royal Palace of Buda and we don't forget to see the Heroes' Square. This is a flexible tour with a professional tour guide which takes public transport or is driven by car, according to the tour option you select.
Private Tour to Buda Castle District and Budapest Center
I offer fully customized walking tours. Beyond the main information about the essentials, I try to present the minds of Budapesters through anecdotes, news and aspects of the daily life of Budapesters. Cultural curiosities and Hungarian gastronomy are also among my favorite subjects. The half-day tour I propose ensures both the discovery of the main monuments and departure from the beaten track.
During this walk, we will have the opportunity to discover the Buda Castle district and the city center with among others the Matthias Church, the Fishermen’s Bastion, the Parliament (outdoor), the famous bronze shoes and the Basilica of St. John the Virgin.Outside Etienne. This framework not only allows us to discuss interesting topics such as the Hungarian currency, the national economy or the standard of living, but also to discover the works of Kolodko, Banksy’s Hungarian counterpart.
Budapest Rafting - Sunset Cruise
This is a unique and active way to explore the historical Budapest form the Danube river. You don't have to stand in the crowd but enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful sights along the way. We paddle in a super safe raft boat so the adventure is suitable for all ages and manageable without any paddling background.
Buda Castle Quarter Walking Tour
With this tour you can discover every part of the famous Buda Castle district, those parts as well, that the sightseeing tours provided by Danube cruise companies can not - due to the limited time available for sightseeing.
As an extra it also includes a guided visit to the Matthias church as well.
This tour is meant to be a relaxed pace walking tour, where there is always time for a slice of strudel and coffee, or to spend time admiring the views of the city.
---
Kindly note that the Castle bazaar is an all time favourite venue of the Hungarian government to host diplomatic events, in case of such we wont be able to cross the facility
Also should there be a concert, or wedding in the Matthias church the venue remains closed for the public.
---
Kindly note that the tour can be tailor made for you, excluding those parts covered by different sightseeing tours to make sure there are no overlaps. In that case we adjust our itinerary.
