10 Hours Private Luxury Tour of Golden Circle

See the world famous erupting geyser & hot springs, experience the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall and follow in the footsteps of the Vikings, as you walk down the lava canyon where the American and Eurasian continents are literally pulling apart in Þingvellir.

During winter, the days are short, but we will take you to the sites in time so you can see and enjoy them before going on to hunt for the northern lights. As the name suggests, it is a hunt, which, with bad luck, may not be successful, but the thrill of looking out and chasing holes in the clouds while waiting for the lights can be an experience in itself.
Remember to dress accordingly. Even though there are paths, sturdy shoes are advisable since they can be very slippery in winter, hence the name Iceland. A wind- and waterproof outer layer is also always a good idea over a warm layer, as you may be outside for a while waiting for the lights to show and, of course, walking between the tectonic plates.

Golden Circle and Kerlingarfjöll Private Tour
On this daily tour, we will be exploring two of the country's most iconic sites: the Golden Circle and Kerlingarfjöll. Our first stop will be the Golden Circle, a popular route that includes three of Iceland's most famous attractions. We will start at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to the world's oldest parliament and is also where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet.
Next, we will visit Geysir geothermal area, where you will have the chance to witness the powerful geysers and hot springs that give the area its name. The most famous geyser, Strokkur, erupts every few minutes. Our final stop on the Golden Circle will be Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls. After the Golden Circle, we will head to Kerlingarfjöll, a mountain range located in the highlands known for its unique geothermal features, including hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles. Westmann Islands Private Day Tour: Puffins, Cliffs and Volcanoes
Vestmannaeyjar, Westman Islands are a cluster of islands that can only be described as a wonder of nature, just a few decades ago there was a volcanic eruption on the main island and a part of the town was buried under the lava.
There is no way to describe the power of nature when it hits a small town like this but the towns people fought the volcano and won (or at least a little bit as they were able to save a part of the town and harbor) so we will visit the Eldheimar Museum for some inside information from the locals about the devastating eruption.
A day tour to this place is a must as it is truly amazing to see the landscape and how the people have rebuilt the town and their lives around this volcano site.
In the summer the island is of course one of the best spots to see the puffins and get close to them and the Beluga Whale Sanctuary is another great way to get close to the wildlife surrounding Iceland.
