Our tour of Wicklow includes beautiful scenery, historic buildings, gardens, lakes - or whatever you want, led by a local guide. We visit little villages, mountain areas, stately homes and maybe my family farm up in the Wicklow Mountains! We can visit Powerscourt Gardens (admission charge here) or Russborough House (admission charge here), drive through Wicklow Mountains National Park, and explore the valley of Glendalough. Here we will visit the ruins of the monastic city, founded by St Kevin and look at some of the seven churches and the famous round tower. If you like walking we can walk around both lakes and enjoy the dramatic scenery and lovely forest. We will also make time for a nice lunch in one of the lovely pubs or restaurants in Wicklow. Located in Salthill in Galway City, the 1,400 sq ft premises can seat 22 people at a time for gin classes and features an apothecary-style botanical pick 'n' mix area for pupils to choose their own flavour combinations. Escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin City for one day as we take you on a private whiskey adventure to the midlands of Ireland, to the real Irish countryside. As you cruise through rural Ireland, enjoy the lively commentary from your Whiskey Specialist Host.
First stop is Old Kilbeggan Distillery, one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries which is still producing their world famous Kilbeggan whiskey.
We like to travel the secondary routes, avoiding motorways. Next, we stop in Athlone. Some free time included, we'll make sure you have good recommendations for lunch. Athlone is home to Ireland's oldest pub - Sean's. We'll regroup here after lunch for a visit.
Next , we travel not far to Tullamore, home to the world's second biggest Irish whiskey brand. The Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Experience Tour is an unforgettable visit for whiskey fans. It's an access all areas tour with lots of great surprises along the way.

Sliabh Liag Cliffs and Glencolmcille Tour
Discover the dramatic beauty of South Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way, home to the spectacular Sliabh Liag, among the highest and most accessible sea cliffs in Europe. This guided journey follows part of Donegal’s 1,200 km rugged coastline, passing through some of Ireland’s most remote and authentic coastal villages.
Along the way, you’ll explore Donegal’s rich maritime heritage in Killybegs, Ireland’s premier fishing harbour. At Muckross Head, take in sweeping views across Donegal Bay towards Benbulben, near the final resting place of Ireland’s greatest poet, W. B. Yeats.
The tour continues high above the Atlantic to Bunglas, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Slieve League cliffs, with time for a short walk near the summit. To finish, step back in time at Glencolmcille Folk Village, offering a vivid insight into traditional Irish life from centuries past.

At the top of Northeast Donegal is Inishowen, Ireland's largest peninsula. On this Wild Atlantic Way tour, I'll show you around part of the peninsula's 100-mile coastal drive known as the 'Inishowen 100'. On your journey, you'll see the glacial fjord, Lough Swilly, which inspired the hymn 'Amazing Grace'. You'll learn the ancient secrets of Grianan of Aileach ring fort, seat of power of the chieftains of Ulster. I'll recount the tragedy of the SS Laurentic and its undiscovered gold near Fort Dunree. You'll travel through the nerve-racking Mamore Gap and defy physics on the 'Magic Road'. A visit to Doagh Famine Village will have you step back in time, hearing how life used to be in the area. Your day culminates in a galaxy far, far away by reaching Malin Head, Ireland's most Northerly point and the filming location of Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi. The tour is in a fun, relaxed manner, with plenty of jokes, tall tales and the odd song too!
