We continue to Temple Mount, a sacred site once home to the ancient Jewish Temple and today home to the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. At times entrance to Temple Mount is limited by the authorities and under those circumstances we will visit the Tower of David instead. Next we visit the Davidson Center, an archaeological park adjacent to Temple Mount with excavated First and Second Temple Period structures. We tour the excavated site and see ancient remains from various historic periods. At the end of the tour you are returned to your hotel.
