Chianti Rufina: ebike tour virtual-guided
After booking, the tour starts at the rental point with e-bike collection and activation of the virtual navigation.
This loop itinerary is about 21 km long with 336 m of elevation gain: medium-easy level. It starts from Le Sieci and crosses the Chianti Rufina hills, alternating paved roads, quiet secondary roads, short trails and a section of cycle path. The surface is smooth, with steady climbs and only a few gravel sections.
The route climbs through vineyards, olive groves and farmhouses to Villa Bossi Gondi, where a tasting with light lunch can be added by reservation. It then continues towards Fattoria di Lavacchio, ideal for a break at the bar or by the distinctive restored windmill.
After a short steeper section, the track descends towards Pontassieve and reaches the Ponte Mediceo. The return follows quiet roads and views over Valdisieve back to Le Sieci. Water, a charged phone and some confidence on gravel are recommended.
