In the café space modernized with bamboo, participants will make Nerikiri, which is called the art of confectionery.
The instructor is Yoshi Higuchi, the 13th-generation owner of a Japanese confectionery store with over 400 years of history and tradition.
After making beautiful wagashi, enjoy them with matcha (powdered green tea) prepared by Master Yoshi.
You are invited to try your hand at edible art incorporating the history of wagashi, ingredients, and motifs of the four seasons.

The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is a must place for Bonsai /Japanese Garden lovers. At Bonsai village Bonsai classes are held for the beginner(reservation needed). Opened in 2010 as the first bonsai museum, Omiya Bonsai Museum consists of Collection Gallery, Bonsai Garden and Bonsai Terrace on 2F. At Collection gallery Bonsai culture is introduced through monthly displays of bonsai pot, stone, and seasonal Bonsai. Collection gallery leads to Bonsai garden displaying 60 seasonal Bonsai outside. Some can be viewed from all angles and photographed. After the museum we walk around the very calm Bonsai village spotted with houses having pretty garden where pine trees and other flower trees are neatly well kept. Among them there are 5 Bonsai gardens where Bonsai are created by each owner, displayed inside and sold, the staff will explain about how to take care Bonsai.

We will meet at Hiroshima Station. Once we are all there, we will visit the Hiroshima Peace Monument. In this place we will find an extensive memorial park with exhibitions and buildings that pay tribute to the victims of this bloody episode of World War II. Notable among them is Genbaku's famous Dome, which recalls the impact of the atomic bomb.
You will then have free time to eat, on your own, at an area restaurant.
