Wakayama Castle Town Walking Tour
We will first walk up to the base ground of the majestic Wakayama Castle Tower and enjoy the nice view of the castle (Admission fee to inside castle tower is not included). We will talk about the history of the city and castle along the way. After visiting the castle, we will stroll through Downtown Wakayama area and show you the local people's life, tradition, culture, foods and so on. If you ever feel tired of walking during our tour, we can always take a break anywhere on our way. We know the best Japanese traditional sweets shop in town for your nice break too!! Make sure to ask many questions to your guide, since we are all professional licensed guides, and most importantly we are Wakayama locals !! The more you know the city, the more you can enjoy !!

The tour starts at "Cycle House Shibuya," a well-known folding bike store. Here, the staff will explain about bicycles, and then we will go cycling.
The first stop will be Taishakuten Temple, known as the setting of the movie, one of the most famous in Japan. We will stroll through the Teishakuten and have lunch at a typical downtown restaurant.
After lunch, we will ride along the Edogawa Cycling Road to the Mizumoto Park, which has the largest area of any metropolitan park, and we will enjoy the fun of the bike as we take our time cycling through the park.
From Mizumoto Park, we will ride along the bank of the Nakagawa River to Kanamachi and take a break at the cafe "Bicycle Coffee Tokyo" located here. This café is a branch of a store started in San Francisco by a cyclist who loves coffee and serves home-roasted coffee.
