Private Kilimanjaro Day Hike to Marangu Route's Mandara Hut
The is a great day hike to Mandara Hut via the Marangu Route. You will be picked up in the morning at your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and taken to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (Marangu Gate, 1860m). The drive will take approximately 1 hour from Moshi or 2 and a half hours from Arusha. Once the necessary gate registration has been completed, your trek can begin and you will soon be hikingthrough the dense Kilimanjaro.
After a 3-4 hour hike, you will reach Mandara Hut (2700m), where you will have a well-earned rest and lunch. Your guide will then take you on a short hike (15 minutes walking distance) to the Maundi Crater, where you can enjoy wonderful views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania and Kenya. Once you have thoroughly enjoyed the views, you will return to the Marangu Gate (2-3 hours walking distance), where your vehicle will be waiting for your transfer back to your hotel. On your return journey you can enjoy the sunset and the day‘s memories.

Lemosho Route
This Kilimanjaro Lemosho route 9 days itinerary is a very special itinerary designed for those wishing to make the ascent to the summit in the daylight hours as well as with sun rise. It takes us through magnificent scenery with views of the Great Rift Valley, Mt Meru and with a camping option at the crater.
The Lemosho route can be done in as little as six days (five nights) on the mountain.
However, it is ideally tackled over eight days (seven nights) for a better altitude acclimatization schedule. The trek begins at Londorossi Gate, located in the western base of mountain, within its lush, fertile rainforest. The route heads across the Shira Plateau, before circling along the southern circuit halfway around the mountain, exposing the climber to great views from all angles. The approach to the summit is made from the east, and the descent follows the Mweka trail. The route is more scenic.
