Exploring the Culture of Shogun and Samurai Shared Tour
We start at the taxi stand of Nijo Castle and we walk 5 mins to Shinsenen garden. It is said to be the oldest existing garden in Kyoto. Then we will head to Nijo Jinya house. This special house is still inhabited today and is open to the public with a guide from the family in Japanese. Tour guide will interpret from Japanese to English. Observe the specially designed house for surprise raids and fires and the design for entertaining guests. Please take a look at the ninja house like contraption at a glance.
After Nijo Jinya house, we walk back to Nijo Castle and enter there.
The tour guide will explain the history of Shogun (general of warrior of middle age) at Nijo Castle. The tour will terminate at the Nijo Castle.
The tour duration set as 2.5 hours because we need to walk from place to place that is included in tour duration. We make the reservation of Nijo Jinya house after your booking therefore last minutes booking is not accepted.
