In Boulder City you will get entrance into the Hoover Dam museum and at the Dam you will get a 45 minute tour 'on top of the dam', where you guide will tell you stories, impart fascinating information on the construction of the dam, and answer all of your questions regarding this fascinating structure.
You will then also get access to the interior of the dam to view the generator rooms and power plants.

Built during the Great Depression, coming in under cost and ahead of schedule, the Hoover Dam is considered one of the greatest engineering marvels of the modern world, and is a testament to America’s can do spirit!
Your tour includes a trip 530 feet down into the dam for a guided tour of the power plant, a walk across the dam (a great photo opportunity with views of Lake Mead, the Colorado River and Black Canyon), viewing of the O’Callaghan / Tilman Memorial Bridge (another engineering marvel!), a stop at a scenic overlook of Lake Mead.
