From that day, bus in UB city, 4WD minivans/land cruisers, experienced guides, cooks and logistic service will start until the departure. Three meals including vegetarian, halal, regular, Mongolian traditional are served considering the guests desire. During the long drive days, depending on weather circumstances, either fresh dish or packed meals will be served. Two days in UB city tours are planned; one at the beginning of the trip and the other one is at the end. We avoid booking international and domestic flights under tight schedule considering flight schedule change may happen, otherwise guests may miss arrival or departure of international air travel. We’ll start at Chinggis Square and walk through the neighborhoods of Ulaanbaatar that shaped my life. We won’t follow a typical sightseeing route; we’ll explore the streets I grew up on, from markets and schoolyards to the railway station where I sold soda as a kid. This is Ulaanbaatar as it’s lived, not just photographed.
Then we’ll go home. My home, on the tenth floor, with the city below us. We’ll slow down over herbal tea, learn Shagai, a traditional Mongolian ankle bone game, and cook together.
You’ll roll the dough, cut the noodles, prepare the ingredients, and cook Tsuivan with your own hands, the way it’s made in Mongolian homes.
By the time we sit down, the meal is yours. You made it.
