Saint Andrija is a fortress placed high above Boka Bay , offering great views of Boka bay. The hike starts from the village in Risan with a gradual hike up to an old Austro-Hungarian road dating from the end of 19th century. The path weaves through small forests, past old villages, ruins .
The path to the fortress was originally designed for horses and offers picturesque views along the way. The path winds through the beautiful beech forest where the only sounds you hear are the chirping birds and buzzing insects. As you approach the top, the path opens up to a panoramic view of the bay where the fortress majestically overlooks. The view from the Sveti Andrija fortress is described as breathtaking (and it is) and includes the enchanting Bay of Kotor, Mount Vrmac, and the Verige Strait.

St. Andrew is an Austro-Hungarian fortress, built on Vranovo hill in the period from 1882 to 1886. In the Austro-Hungarian documents it was run under the name of Fort Vranovo hill. Its purpose was to close the direction that leads from Čevak to Donji Orahovac, Perast and Risan, as well as to control the region of Gornji Orahovac - village Stepen - Donji Orahovac. From Perast to this fort there is a serpentine road 2 m wide.
Vruca Rijeka - Hot River
The Vruća Reka Canyon is located in the vicinity of Bar. Only the starting point is located in the village of Gornji Mikulici, more precisely at the mosque where there is parking for vehicles. End of the canyon and exit in the olive groves near the walls of the Old Bar (oilseeds).
