Day 01: Depart on a private Safari Van to Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, also view Travelers' Chapel," a small, historic church built by Italian prisoners of war in 1942 . Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm spotting the Big Five i.e. Lion, Leopard, Elephants, Buffalo & Cheetah Rhino and Wildebeest. Utamaduni, meaning culture, tradition, folklore, is situated close to the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre, Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, the Nairobi National Park and Kazuri Beads. It encompasses the best of african crafts and is dedicated to supporting craftsmen from all over Kenya. It supports various charities including the KSPCA and Street boys (who actually have their own shop in the center). There is also a small restaurant where one can stop for a quick bite. Later visit the Kazuri bead factory, a producer of top quality handmade and hand painted ceramic jewelry and pottery.
