3 Days Sossusvlei Guided Private Tour

You will visit Sesriem Canyon. about 4 km from Sesriem gate, which is the second most important tourist attraction in the area after Sossusvlei. It is a natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab river in the local sedimentary rock, about one kilometer long and up to 30 meters (100 ft.) deep. The name Sesriem is Afrikaans and means "six rawhide thongs", given by settlers on the Dorsland Trek, who had to join six such thongs in order for a bucket to reach the water.

Shore Excursion from the Port of Walvis Bay and many highlights.
This is an exciting and interesting shore excursion starting and ending in the port of Walvis Bay. We explore Walvis Bay town and visit the famous wetlands south of Walvis Bay which teams with thousands of flamingos and numerous other shore and seabirds. Afterwards we visit some of the highest dunes in this coastal area. We continue into the Namib Desert and marvel at the so called "moonscape", a rugged and rocky scenery reminding us of the surface of the moon. Our next destination is an oasis in the Swakop Canyon, a former farm which has now been turned into a pleasant resort with a restaurant in the middle of the "Moonscape". Afterwards we return to the coast and visit the historical town of Swakopmund which was founded in 1892 by the German Colonial Reich. Your guide will relate the history of Swakopmund and explain the distinct colonial character and origin of the various historical builidngs.
We return to Walvis Bay port in the afternoon.

Windhoek: Guided Hike & Walking Safari
Explore Daan Viljoen Game Park on a guided 9 km hike and walking safari through the Khomas Hochland. Walk through hills, valleys and riverbeds around 1,700 metres above sea level, with viewpoint and photo stops.
Look out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, kudu, guinea fowl, klipspringer, impala, baboons, oryx and ostrich. Animals roam freely, so sightings vary and cannot be guaranteed.
At the scenic viewpoint, enjoy included drinks and local snacks, such as droëwors, while gazing over Windhoek and the surrounding hills.
Allow approximately four hours including Windhoek pickup and return transfers, with 3–4 hours on the trail depending on pace and conditions. Expect uphill and downhill walking and uneven ground. A reasonable level of fitness is needed; share mobility concerns before the trip. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring drinking water, sun protection and a warm layer.
