3 Day Etosha Budget Camping Safari
This 3-day/2night budget camping safari starts in Swakopmund every Saturday and ends Monday afternoons in Windhoek. Leaving Swakopmund in the morning to Etosha National Park where you will spend 1 full day and an afternoon game driving, searching for predators & prey alike.
Spend your evenings at the flood-lit waterhole waiting for animals to come and drink. Etosha National Park stretches approximately 22,000sqkms and is named after the famed Etosha Pan. Upon leaving Etosha, make a final stop at the Okahandja craft market for some local souvenirs. We arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon where we will be dropped off at our accommodation within the city limits.
Sandwich Harbour Scenic Excursion - Design for the Cruise Ships
This 4-hour 4x4 adventure tour is specially designed for our clients arriving via passenger liner. You will be met & picked up at the Walvis Bay port where your cruise ship will be docking. Before heading out to Sandwich Harbour we first make a stop at the Walvis Bay Lagoon to admire the flamingos and occasionally a great white pelican, flow the Walvis Bay Salt Refiners with all its pink salt lacks. Now we are off to the Nambi Desert -Sandwich Harbour, one of Southern Africa’s richest and unique wetlands. Wedging between the sea and dunes "if tides permit"; if tides forbid, surf the dunes up to the many convenient lookout spots. Lots of time are granted to explore the area as well as photograph opportunities. Finally, enjoy a light picnic lunch with some cold beverages with a natural desert backdrop, then hit the dunes for some more excitement before concluding your adventure to the Kuiseb River Delta, a dry riverbed where you can occasionally see springbok, oryx, or even ostrich.
Bushman Walk with the San in Windhoek
These San are the only Bushmen in Windhoek who share their ancient knowledge of the traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle. This guided tour will take you on a delightful two-hour walk, featuring a variety of stops to enrich your experience. It is designed to be easy and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. You will learn about the ancient wisdom of bush plants and how the San people use them for different purposes. Also, you will get an introduction into their Click-language, and they will show you how to read animal tracks. You will watch them making fire in a traditional way and they will dance for you. Our next stop after crossing the Tropic of Capricorn is Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert, home to some of the world’s highest sand dunes.
