In Hinduism the dead body is cremated in the bank of the holy river, especially every Hindu people wish to cremate their death body in the bank of Bagmati river at Pashupati temple. Bagmati is a holy river, locals believes that cremated death soul will directly go to the heaven.
After cremation, the family member does follow for 12 days as mourning period. Along the days, the family members are not allowed to eat certain vegetables, meats. The family members are only allow wearing white cloths and white shoes. Using the leather wears is prohibited. On the 12th days, the Hindu priest will come and organize puja ceremony with using specific mantra in the name of the decreased one. After that, the family members are allowed to come to their normal lifestyle.

The main summit Nuptse I (7861m/25,791 fts ) was first summited by a British expedition team of Dennis Davis and Tashi Sherpa from north-ridge on May 16, 1961.
