Leaving Tromsø behind, we’ll journey through the stunning Arctic landscape. At our destination, unwind by a crackling fire with hot beverages, cookies, and traditional Norwegian grilled pølse i brød (sausage) hot dogs. Our guide will share fascinating stories and insights about the Aurora and Northern Norway, answering any questions you have.
When the Northern Lights appear, our guides will capture beautiful portrait photos of you beneath the vibrant sky. A timelapse video will document your evening under the Arctic stars, even if the Aurora is elusive.

Northern Lights Expedition Tromsø - 6 people - Arctic Photo Guide
Are you fit and confident in walking on ice and snow and want to reach the most scenic spots in a small, dynamic group?
Using a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Truck, we will reach the best areas with suitable skies to chase the Aurora Borealis.
If the weather conditions allow, we may set off on a light hike/snowshoeing walk, reaching pristine landscapes, calm fjords, frozen lakes and the best spots that the Arctic has to offer away from the tourism crowds.
Whether the ground will be covered in ice or snow, you will be provided with ice crampons or snow rackets, walking poles, thermal suits as well as foot and hand warmers. Remember to wear your own warm snow boots!
Your guide will take photos of you and the lights, but if you have a camera as well, bring it along! You'll get tips on how to take your own Aurora photographs and use a professional tripod.
A soup for dinner, cookies and hot drinks will warm us up in the wild, while enjoying the night Arctic sky!

Either it's the late arrival social distancing, family holiday, group of friends/colleagues, demanding photographers or adventurers who want us to take you to the hilltops to get THE Northern Lights photo. It's also a great way to get 100% of guide's attention, to learn more about local history and nature and also about your camera settings, if you are keen to learn about Aurora photography.

Via Ferrata Åndalsnes West Wall
Via Ferrata Åndalsnes West Wall is a true challenge, set in some of the world’s most spectacular mountain scenery. Designed for experienced adventurers, the West Wall is our most demanding Via Ferrata route.
The views along the way are simply breathtaking, the photo opportunities endless, and the adrenaline rush that comes from facing your fears and pushing through them is nothing short of incredible.
A good level of fitness and experience is required. The climb takes on average 5 to 6 hours return. You will be guided by professionals and secured to the mountain by cable throughout. After reaching the summit of Mount Nesaksla, the descent follows the scenic Rampestreken viewpoint before returning to the Norwegian Mountaineering Centre.

Experience the nature and silence surrounded by snow-clad mountains in the valley of Mathisdalen and come join our family at Omdal farm.
The sleigh is drawn by the horse breed known from the Disney movie "Frozen". The sheep you will meet, have the opportunity to be outside all year long, and in the summertime they lives side by side to the reindeer up in the mountains.
You will also get a taste of the Sami way of life, when enjoying lokal snacks meal in a traditional Sami tent, called "lavvo".

We start watching Bergen from the seaside with the backdrop of the mountains. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee while cruising the fjords, where the scenery and atmosphere shifts from city, to pristine fjord landscape and waterfalls.
We get to the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls, all year round. If it`s raining doesn`t matter, it makes the waterfalls more dramatic. We stop at a waterfall cascading down to the fjord, where you can have a waterfall-shower. We can dock in the village of Mo, where you can have lunch at the local cafe- and explore the village. Or have lunch onboard, enjoyed while cruising. Bring swimsuit if you like, and we stop for a swim near the waterfall, a once in a lifetime experience.

When the aurora appears, your guide takes professional photos of you under the lights and shares photography tips. During the tour, you’ll also hear stories of Arctic life and the science behind the aurora while enjoying hot drinks, a light snack, and homemade cake.

Snowshoeing - Winter Day Trip in Bodo, Northern Norway
Snowshoeing is a good way to enjoy the snow if you are not steady on a pair of skis. The snowshoe trip is fully guided, and we’ll provide you with the necessary gear. To maximise your chances of having a great experience, it’s important to dress warmly.
Daytime Snowshoe Trips. This is a great way to enjoy the winter landscape and the Arctic wilderness near Bodø. We’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the nature, and on a guided tour you can immerse yourself in new knowledge about the Norwegian nature.
Arctic Night Snowshoe Hike. A bit adventurous? Then consider a mysterious evening snowshoe hike, which could be your chance to see the Northern Lights. You’ll then get a feeling of a winter night above the Arctic Circle. During the hike, we’ll stop by for a break, make an open fire and enjoy a hot drink.

Using a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer.
Based on weather conditions your guide will choose a safe and fun trail around Kvaløya island or over the mainland out of Tromsø. Vistas are guaranteed no matter which way we'll go!
We will then venture for a scenic easy hike, reaching untouched landscapes, mountain lakes and breathtaking views.
When snow covers the ground, you will be provided with ice crampons or snowshoes, walking poles and foot+hand warmers. Remember to have your own waterproof hiking boots.
Your guide will take photos of you and the landscape, but if you have a camera as well, do bring it along!

After stopping to fill water bottles in a fresh mountain stream, your guide will safely lead you to some of the most stunning viewpoints on the Lysefjorden.
