Tromso Self-Drive Husky Dog Sledding
You will be driving your own sled and team of dogs in pairs, an experienced guide will lead your tour on the trail (group size is 20 guests maximum)
- Drive your own team of huskies, in pairs you will share control of a dog sled and team of 5-6 Alaskan Huskies

Silent Whale Watching by Hybrid-Electric Boat from Tromsø
Get a unique perspective on the majestic Humpbacks, Fin, Sperm whales and/or Orca's as they feed in the herring-rich fjords of the Arctic. With purpose made hybrid-electric boats for whale watching, we minimise disturbance to nature and whales.
Leaving Tromsø in the morning, we head to where the whales are in time to enjoy the short hours of daylight. On the way you can take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, panoramic lounges and 2 decks.
We use a hybrid engine to reach the whale’s feeding grounds, and as we near the whales, we switch to a silent electric engine that allows us to get closer without disturbing them.
Please note that the duration of the trip depends on the whales’ location. It takes up to 3.5 hours to get to the whales and can therefore range from 8-9 hours.

This year we’re celebrating 10 Years of The Green Adventure! Trust local experienced guides with a 98% success rate last season and the finest photographers. We will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and set off on a comfortable journey in our minibus. In the minibus our expedition leader will do a small introduction about weather conditions, possibilities to see the lights and selected locations. Once we find the right place under the clear skies, we will get ready for the show. Tromso Skjervoy Whale Watching on RIB Boat

We are Arctic Adventure Tours and your tour starts at the BUS TERMINAL at Tromsø Havn Prostneset. Look for and go to the big red bus from Best Arctic. Please be ready at the bus terminal at 05:20 AM.
After a scenic drive from Tromsø, your local skipper will greet you and provide you with thermal flotation suits and safety equipment in our dressing room.
(Dress in several warm layers from home - being at sea in the Arctic in winter is a cold experience).
From here there is a short walk down to the RIB boat and then the search for the whales begins. After the tour, you will receive light sandwich and drink to enjoy before the bus ride back to Tromsø.
Remember to bring snacks with you, as it will be a long day. If you have specific dietary requirements we recommend bringing your own food and snacks with you, so you are sure you have food for the day.

Tromso Snowshoeing - Valley, Fjord Views, Wildlife, Meal & Pickup
Take a walk on the wild side of Tromsø on this small-group outdoor hiking tour and explore the Arctic nature on foot. You'll be taken to the countryside of Tromsø in the middle of beautiful mountains, fjords and valleys, where you and your group will snowshoe up a small mountain or along a valley with a guide. On the tour we will be using snowshoes, which makes it easier and a lot of fun to walk on the snow.
In the autumn months (October and November), you'll get to enjoy the colourful countryside before it is covered with a thick layer of snow. When there is not much snow, the tour is a hiking tour without snowshoes.

Northern Lights Yacht Cruise with Dinner and Hot Tub from Tromsø
Experience Tromsø’s winter fjords after dark aboard S/Y Stella Oceana, a spacious 34-meter expedition sailing yacht limited to 12 guests. This is more than a Northern Lights search: it is a relaxed four-hour evening on the water, with generous outdoor decks for watching the Arctic sky and a heated saloon for dining and warming up between periods outside. Each booking group receives 30–45 minutes of reserved private hot-tub time beneath the night sky. Enjoy a non-alcoholic welcome drink, traditional reindeer stew with bread, and coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and cookies. Blankets, pillows, books and games add to the comfort onboard. The Captain selects the safest and most suitable route through the fjords based on the evening’s sea and weather conditions, while the Captain and crew provide personal service and local insight throughout.

Sámi Reindeer Sledding & Feeding with Chance of Northern Lights
Night-time sky, hopefully printed with green waves from the Northern Lights, enjoyed together with reindeer. After the outdoor session, become better acquainted with the Sami culture through tasting some typical Sami food, hearing traditional Sami singing, and seeing some authentic handmade artifacts still used today.

* All animals used for these services are trained for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable, and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety and the safety of others.
