The top offers unobstructed views over the meandering blue fjord that was formed by the glaciers during the last Ice Age, making it a good spot to enjoy a photo session and possibly a light snack.

Alesund Shore Excursion from Fjords to Trolls
A full day of amazing and breathtakingly beautiful sceneries is guaranteed. You will depart from Ålesund by bus and soon travel along the magnificent Storfjord. Enjoy the green fields in Valldal where the most delicious strawberries grow. Walk over the bridge at Gudbrandsjuvet, a beautiful gorge where the clearest water falls down 20-25 meters into a ravine. Experience the adventurous Troll Road (Trollstigen) and enjoy the amazing view over the valley of Istradal from the top. Trolltunga Day Hike
The hike to Trolltunga is long, 20 km return from Mågelitopp (P3), where we most of the time start our hike. Therefore this hike requires good physical condition and the ability to hike for many hours. Our guides will do their very best to take care of you but it is also important that you have the equipment (clothes) and physical strength necessary.
At 07.30 we will meet you at our meeting point in Skjeggedal Here our guide will welcome you and tell you some information about the hike before we start our adventure.
On our way to Trolltunga your guide will tell you interesting facts and stories from the area as well as stop for some breaks. You will visit some of our hidden gems along the trek and stop at the very best photo spots.
At Trolltunga we will make a longer stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery and have some well deserved lunch before we head back towards civilization. We will have time to enjoy the breathtaking views on our way back as well.

During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts and uses local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights within an hour's drive from town. On this activity, we will travel wherever looks safest and with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights within 1 hr of Tromsø city centre. Once we arrive at the best location, we will be waiting for the show to begin. In the meantime, our guides will tell you stories about the North and the science behind the Aurora. We'll have you back to the city centre 4 hours after the start time, so you can be well rested the next morning.
Tromso Skjervoy Whale Watching on RIB Boat

We are Arctic Adventure Tours and your tour starts at the BUS TERMINAL at Tromsø Havn Prostneset. Look for and go to the big red bus from Best Arctic. Please be ready at the bus terminal at 05:20 AM.
After a scenic drive from Tromsø, your local skipper will greet you and provide you with thermal flotation suits and safety equipment in our dressing room.
(Dress in several warm layers from home - being at sea in the Arctic in winter is a cold experience).
From here there is a short walk down to the RIB boat and then the search for the whales begins. After the tour, you will receive light sandwich and drink to enjoy before the bus ride back to Tromsø.
Remember to bring snacks with you, as it will be a long day. If you have specific dietary requirements we recommend bringing your own food and snacks with you, so you are sure you have food for the day.
