We begin by kayaking toward Austdalsbreen (glacier) front. Calving ice from this glacier leaves us with floating icebergs as we kayak across Styggevatnet (lake). After the kayaking, enjoy lunch with this idyllic view before walking on the glacier. We offer small trips so that everyone gets plenty of time to enjoy all of the features of this stunning glacier.

Hamaroyskaftet, Guided Climb in Northern Norway
Hamarøyskaftet is one of the most characteristic mountains in Northern Norway. It’s less well known than Stetind and the summit is just 613 metres above sea level. Some alpine climbing is needed to reach the summit. Join us on a guided climb, and be surprised by how much fun this trip is!
Hamarøyskaftet is not a very difficult climb, but you will still need ropes and guiding to reach the top. You must be comfortable with some airy climbing. Between the alpine sections, you will find large ledges to rest on while you enjoy the amazing views. When you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with views of the Vestfjord and Lofotveggen (The Lofoten Wall) – the line of mountains on the nearby Lofoten Islands.
No rush. We allow plenty of time on this excursion, so we don’t have to rush.
Stavanger Day Trip: Nature, Culture & Food

After a scenic drive by the beautiful Frafjord, we will hike a short but steep climb to the breathtaking Månafossen (the region's largest and most powerful waterfall). After our hike, we will enjoy a traditional meal made from locally sourced products at Byrkedalstunet. This historic dairy farm has been converted into a hotel and restaurant, features its very own candle factory, and has become one of the most important tourist destinations in the region.
There will be time to explore Bykedalstunet and learn about Norwegian culture and history. Afterward, we will drive into the UNESCO Geopark to Gloppedalsura, the site of a famous WWII battle, and take in the majestic cliffs and stunning views over the largest boulder field in Northern Europe.

Preikestolen Hidden Trail and Canoe
Why hike with the tourists when you can find peace on the trail with us? Combining canoe paddling, hiking along an old path now rediscovered, and an authentic Norwegian packed lunch, we are proud to offer this unique experience to our guests!
After pickup in Stavanger, and collecting our delicious lunches, we arrive at Preikestolen Basecamp. After a safety canoe instruction, we paddle across the lake, make our way onto shore, and hike along an old and forgotten trail. Tourists don’t know this trail even exists, and other guide companies don’t use it. This means we have the trail to ourselves!
The pace allows for time to adjust clothes and equipment for comfort, time to drink water, rest and enjoy lunch, and to take pictures along the way. The hike takes roughly 3 hours to reach Preikestolen - our main goal for the day.
After we have enjoyed the scenery and relaxed for a while, we head back down. It normally takes about 2.5 hours to get back down to the parking area.

Stavanger Private Safari and Fishing’s
First of all we will bring you outside the main stream tourist routs. Most of the visitors in Stavanger want to see the famous PulPit in Lysefjord. We dont do that. We wanna show the beautiful island in Stavanger Municipality and just outside Stavanger Center. Stavanger is beautiful walking the the streets, but why not see the wider Stavanger from the sea side. We will tell you about Stavanger and the history of the vessel RS56 Olav Ringdal jr launched in 1952. It's a dramatic history during it's 30 years Search and Rescue periode. Onboard we also have the signature of Haakon the 7th, Norways first king after the liberation from Sweden. He inspected the vessel before it was put into operation back in 1952.
It's a unique atmosphere on board. It's a solidly built vessel for any weather condition. The speed of 8 knots will make it a relaxing tour.

Preikestolen Winter Hike with Hot Meal
Join us on a unique experience! Winter weather may seem intimidating, but our guides provide the safety to enjoy the winter landscape of Fjord-Norway.
After pick up in Stavanger and a 45-minute drive to Preikestolen Basecamp, you’ll get a briefing and a chance to prepare before starting the adventure!
Reaching the top typically takes about 2.5 hours, depending on group & conditions. The sensible pace includes time for clothing adjustments, rest & photo breaks. If conditions allow, the guide may lead you to hidden viewpoints along the way.
If the weather cooperates, you’ll enjoy sweeping views from this ice-age formation rising 604 meters above the fjord. After a snack & hot drink, we begin the approximately two-hour descent to a hot lunch.
Because snow and ice are common from January to March, hiking without a guide is not recommended. Our professional guides are trained for winter navigation and carry all necessary safety, first-aid, and winter-specific equipment.
