You can't go out wearing it, but you can enjoy taking pictures (with your own camera, etc.) in the Japanese-style corner in the room.
Calligraphy Workshop in Namba, Dotonbori
This is a 2-hour calligraphy workshop in Namba, downtown Osaka.
Even if you are a beginner, no worries as a Japanese calligraphy instructor will give you detailed instructions step by step. Writing Japanese using a brush and ink will be an unforgettable experience. In this workshop, you will know what the Japanese calligraphy really is besides learning calligraphy with writing your own name in kanji or katakana. At the end of the workshop, you will create a one-of-a-kind handwritten souvenir by writing your name on colored paper or on a name tag. Well-balanced BENTO (lunch box) Cooking Class
At the beginning of this class, choose your favorite lunch box and wear an apron.
Cooking starts from making traditional Japanese broth 'Dashi'. After that, you make seven basic Japanese dishes often eaten at home, using Wagyu (Japanese beef), shrimp, salmon, egg, squash and mushroom, green vegetable, also make triangular rice balls.
In this experience, you acquire various cooking techniques such as frying, grilling, simmering and marinade. In addition, after practicing to make triangular shapes using plastic molds, you complete two rice balls.
When all the dishes are completed, please try packing in a lunch box with fresh vegetables! Your instructor advises on an attractive pack way.
At the end, place the dishes, along with chopsticks and let's say “Itadakimasu”! Please enjoy the meal you made served with the complimentary Miso soup.

With 27 years of experience as a calligraphy instructor, I will provide you with easy-to-understand and detailed instruction.
We will talk about Japanese letters, explain how to use calligraphy tools, and teach you the basics of how to use a brush. Then, students choose one of the 16 kanji that are popular overseas, practice it, and write it on a Japanese board. Sign your name, place it in a special art frame, and your original work of art is complete. You can take it home, so please display it at home. At the end, enjoy green tea and Japanese sweets, and take a commemorative photo. It will be a wonderful memory for you.
The event will be held on the first floor of a hotel in Shinsaibashi, the center of Osaka. It's very convenient, just 1 minute walk from the subway station.
