Full Day Tour To Sacred Valley From Cusco
In this tour we pick up
passengers up from hotels from 7:40 to 8:30 a.m. Then, we go to the Sacred Valley (1 ½ hours travel time) to visit the most important places in the Valley, start with the traditional markets and archaeological site of Pisac, where you can appreciate the impressive terraces of the Inca period and the Andean people. Continuing the journey through the Sacred Valley, we stop for the buffet lunch (tourist restaurant in Urubamba). After lunch we head to enjoy Ollantaytambo fortress (30 min trip) and observe agricultural areas; the most striking is the cultivation of corn without irrigation, also growing Andean tubers and grains. After the visit to the archaeological site we head to the town of Chincheros on the road to Cusco, where we visit the colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico built on the foundations of an Inca building. We will visit one of the new attractions of Cusco "The rainbow mountain". The tour avoids early morning pick ups, we will pick you up from your hotel at :800 am. We will travel by car around two hours to Cusipata, where we can have breakfast. After we will travel by car 1 hour to the control point, where we will start the trek. The trek will is for 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will appreciate the typical landscape and flora and fauna of the Andes, among which Llamas and Alpacas stand out. Upon reaching the viewpoint of Vinicunca, our guide will give us a description about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain; we can also take a moment to take photos to remember and admire the beautiful landscape. Then we will return by the same route to the point where we started the trek, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata; here we will enjoy the buffet lunch. After lunch we will start the return trip to the city of Cusco, arriving between 18:30 pm.
