Guided Hike: Lime Kiln Desert Hike on the Lower Salt River

This Lime Kiln Trail offers beautiful views of the Lower Salt River as you hike along the side of it. On this Trail keep your eyes open for the mountain sheep that live along the cliffside. You'll also have a great chance of seeing wild horses in this area. Your leading destination on this trail will be the Lime Kiln, also known as the Goldfield Ovens. It is a limestone kiln built by the pioneers in the late 1800s. This trail difficulty rating is considered moderate, with a length of about 4 miles out and back, an elevation gain of about 406 ft, and its highest grade of 12%.

Our Bulldog Canyon Off‑Road Adventure takes you into one of the most beautiful and rarely traveled areas of Tonto National Forest. See towering saguaros, unique Sonoran Desert plants, seasonal wildflowers, and stunning views of the Superstition Mountains, Red Mountain, and Four Peaks. Wildlife such as wild horses, javelina, deer, coyotes, hawks, eagles, and desert reptiles are often spotted. You’ll explore sandy washes, rocky paths, steep hills, and boulder crossings—terrain most visitors never reach. We bring together basic astronomy and the ancient navigation traditions of the indigenous peoples of Arizona with an opportunity to also see what kind of nighttime creatures and activity we can find. We can also bring some desert creatures for a fun learning experience. You will also learn about the plants and animals of this unique ecosystem.
Sedona and Grand Canyon Full-Day Tour
This 13 to 14 hour tour takes you to BOTH Sedona and the Grand Canyon. See Sedona and the Grand Canyon via a small group of up to five passengers maximum. This small group tour gives you a more personal and comfortable experience as you make your way through the red rocks of Sedona to the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. In Sedona, you will visit Bell Rock Vista for photos, the Chapel of the Holy Cross and a bit of time in Uptown Sedona for some unique shops and more scenery. Then on to the Grand Canyon National Park for about a 3 hour visit including 2 unique views of the Canyon at a minimum.
To our valued International guests: Please do not let additional National Park fees for non-residents deter your reservation. We can discuss a variety of options with you after booking. For example, there is an annual pass that is great for groups of 3 or more, or for travelers that plan to visit other U.S. National Parks during their stay. The supplier can assist in attaining the pass, if desired.

This is a great option for beginners wanting to go ATVing! You will receive personalized and hands-on training. Your ATV Training includes a safety operations briefing and some riding on our awesome test course, known as "The Sidewinder." The Sidewinder is full of turns, bumps, and hills that will help you go from beginner to expert! You’ll be accompanied by a certified guide with a vast knowledge of off-roading, Sonoran Desert wildlife, history, and survival techniques. This is a 1-hour ATV training session but you may be with us for up to 2-hours total. This time includes up to 1-hour of checking in and gearing up followed by up to 1-hour of training & riding.
