The Palace of Culture and Science is a controversial building for many Varsovians. Palac is a flagship example of communist, monumental architektur from the 1950s. The tremendous structure houses restaurants, a university, theatres, cinemas, offices, conference and concert halls and swimming pool – that is over 3000 different rooms.
Lazienki Park covers the area of almost 80 hectares. Among many fascinating monuments are the Palace on the Isle, the Amphitheatre, the Orangery, the Chopin Monument and the Myśliwiecki Palace.
Stalin to Skyscrapers: A Self-Guided Warsaw Tour
