Botanical Trails of Madeira. Mountain biking Trail Experience
Discover Madeira in a relaxed and accessible way with our Trail Experience. The starting point is Poiso, at 1400 meters above sea level. A gentle ascent allows for a gradual introduction. Our guide assesses the skills of each rider before presenting two options: either explore easy single trails in the forest or follow the roads and gravel paths to the Levada, the traditional water channels. Regardless of skill level, each participant will find a suitable challenge. Together, we then glide leisurely at about 850 meters above sea level, covering approx. 25K along the Levada. The route takes us through picturesque laurel, eucalyptus, and pine forests, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries can be picked. We follow the Levada through the colorful Camacha and tackling the last exciting 10 kilometers down to the Lokoloko Shop on paved roads. Precise braking is required during this descent – a spectacular conclusion to an unforgettable tour on the breathtaking island of Madeira.

Aveiro, Costa Nova beach and Moliceiro Boat, half-day from Coimbra
After picking up the participants in Coimbra, we will head to Aveiro, less than an hour away. We'll start aboard one of the traditional Moliceiros boats, which were formerly used to catch "moliço" and to transport seaweed and salt. After boarding, we will make a 45-minute journey through the urban channels that characterize and divide the city known as the “Portuguese Venice“.
Then, we will go to Praia da Barra where we get to know the mouth of the Vouga river and the Aveiro estuary, barred by strong walls which gave rise to a beautiful beach without waves much sought after by families. We can also appreciate the lighthouse of Aveiro.
After visiting, we continue to Costa Nova, one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal and also with the most original neighborhood due to the houses painted with different colored stripes that border the Ria.
After enjoying all that Costa Nova has to offer, we will return to Coimbra and finish the tour.

Here, along the Costa Vicentina, you can feast your eyes on the wild beauty of the pristine beaches pounded by the turbulent Atlantic and backed by majestic cliffs.
The Southwest Alentejo Natural Park and Vicentine Coast extends from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Burgau, encompassing about 80 km of coastline. Leaving the bustle of the southern coast of the Algarve behind at Lagos we head northwards through unspoilt countryside and along the coast to our first stop – the beaches of Amado and Carrapateira which offer stunning views of the vast horizon and the unforgiving cliffs.
Here you can fill your lungs with the purest air imaginable. We journey on to the ancient town of Aljezur which is marked by the brooding presence of the Moorish castle which sits atop a hill, affording spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
