The first stop is at the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint. Here you can see the landscape over Funchal Bay and the mountains. Then we go up to Eira do Serrado (1053 meters high) where there is a panorama over the parish of Curral das Freiras. Access to the viewpoint is via a footpath. After visiting this point, we left for Monte known for its gardens and the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte.

If possible include a gastronomic experience, either in terms of the local pastries or of the local cuisine, and who knows some wine to go with that...
