Get picked up at your hotel/accommodation in the city of Porto. Start the trip to Arouca, at Passadiços do Paiva (Around 1 hour). The Passadiços do Paiva are a series of wooden pedestrian walkways across the Paiva River, in Arouca. Start the journey along the Areinho River Beach. Here you can take a route and walk on the 516Arouca Bridge which will take around 3 hours. The guide will pick you up at the final part, Ponte de Espiunca. After that, the guide/driver will recommend a restaurant in the Alverenga area to enjoy a good lunch. (Expense not included) Arouca's gastronomy is rich and varied. The meat of these animals can be prepared in several ways, constituting typical dishes of the region.
