Chase Waterfalls - Discover a hidden 180ft rainforest gem
Join us for an off the beaten path hike where you will be one of the only groups enjoying a stunning 60m(180ft.) waterfall.
8:00a.m. meetup at a local bakery (if you require pickup, we will assign pickup time based on location) for a coffee/tea.
We will share a short scenic 45-minute drive overlooking San Juan and the surrounding metro area
Brief safety meeting before beginning our hike (handing out life-vests, changing shoes, etc.)
Light hike on a well-maintained trail, proceeding upriver, progressively increasing in difficulty for about 30 min with quick rest stops along the way at several pools/smaller waterfalls to discuss flora, fauna, history of the surrounding city and La Isla del Encanto. Riders zip through the upper canopy of the trees using a cable and a safety rope, witnessing the stunning rainforest scenery all around. Participants will depart and arrive at platforms available on each section. A member of the zipline staff will make your line change on each platform. El Yunque Rainforest and Waterfall Guided Tour
Upon arriving in Ceiba, we will commence with a 25-30 minute hike, which includes a brief river trek. Once we enter the outskirts of the forest, you will climb through rocks and trees to reach the pristine natural pools and waterfalls. Here, you can also swing from a rope or cliff jump. We will spend some time here before proceeding to the next stop, an advanced hike to higher natural pools that lead to exciting natural waterslides. We then return through the same path, with the option to swim part of the way.
Throughout this excursion, your certified guide will share important information about the only tropical rainforest in the US Forest System, as well as intriguing facts about Puerto Rico's culture and history, while ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience.

This is the best adventure tour in all Puerto Rico as it completely avoids the tourist traps of the island & focuses exclusively on amazing places known only to locals. The 2 stops on this tour: Cueva del Indio & Charco Azul Canyon are both amazing yet completely different from one another. Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) is a Seaside Cave that we go inside but to get there we have to walk over the breathtaking 7 arches rock formations. The views of the island and the sea from this point is something to wander at. Then we go into the cave itself which immediately transports you into the past, way before the era of Colombus. The Tainos carved the entire walls of the cave and we get to see it up close. Charco Azul is perhaps even more amazing. These are river caves, formed by the passage of a river beating against the stone for millions of years. We swim thru caves, hike and cliff jump at the end (optional). The entire day is filled with fun and much adventure.
