It is the host of the very unique Fortified Churches, structures which are combining the religious with defensive role. In our tour in Transylvania we’ll also include some sights which are included in the UNESCO tentative list due their cultural and historical role such as the Alba Iulia citadel and the Old Town of Sibiu. Other medieval towns, castles and fortresses are completing our visiting program. You’ll enjoy the scenic roads which are passing the Carpathians Mountains with their high peaks and dense forrest and the Transylvanian landscape with its green rolling hills and the charming villages spread out between them.

Salt Mine - Slanic Prahova
Slanic Prahova salt mine is situated about 100 km from Bucharest and it is a recognized destination for balneal and touristic activities since 1853, when it was declared a tourist destination of national interest in Romania.
You will be pick up from the hotel by guide and travel to Slanic Prahova Salt Mine. The saline had therapeutic effects on health. When you finish your visit, you will have lunch at Hotel Roberto Slanic Prahova and return to Bucharest. On your way, you will visit Lavender Garden and you will see a 500 years old tree. This is the perfect destination for a one-day trip far away from the crowded capital.

Romania has the largest Brown Bear population in Europe, so you can find many places to watch bears in the wildlife.

Brasov Private Tour: Transfagarasan road & Poienari Fortress
Visit Poienari Fortress, the real Vlad Tepes' Residential Castle and we drive on Transfagarasan highway, built as a strategic military route, is the second-highest paved road in Romania and considered by some to be the most dramatic.
Driving on Transfagarasan Highway as know as "the Road to the Sky", "the Road to the Clouds", "the Best Driving Road in the World" and even "A spectacular Monument to Earth-Moving Megalomania"!

When the Transfagarasan road is closed (November 1 - June 30) we drive up to the Balea Waterfall (no visit of Poienari Fortress and Vidradu Dam). If the weather conditions allows, we take the cable car up to the Balea Lake (extra 20 euro/person). We visit the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Carta and the amazing Sambata de Sus Monastery, also.
