The meeting point for this tour is the Arch of Constantine. Passing alongside world’s most famous amphitheatre, we can start our tour with the Circus Maximus. This ancient Roman chariot racing stadium used to be a mass entertainment venue and was the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire. Located between the Aventine and Palatine hills, it had enormous dimensions and could accommodate thousands of spectators.
Our tour continue towards the Palatine Hill, one of the Seven Hills of Rome. It stands 40 metres above the Roman Forum and looks down upon it on one side and upon the Circus Maximus on the other.
