The former Naval Training Center in San Diego has transformed itself into Liberty Station and this is your opportunity to learn important sailor skills without having to drop and give us 20! We'll explore the historic core of the area, and see the buildings that help transform new recruits into sailors and sailors into specialists. We'll start at the USS Brave art piece, explore the former Camp John Paul Jones, visit the former Command Center, the former detention camp, and pay tribute to the 52 submarines lost during World War II. We'll also see the modern golf course (and talk about who made it their final resting place), what Liberty Station has in common with Balboa Park, and learn some skills. After you pass muster, we'll celebrate your "graduation" with a certificate of completion and a beer.

Our Coronado Bike Tour begins in San Diego and takes a charming 15 minute ferry to Coronado. We’ll begin our totally flat, almost car-free Bike tour on a beautiful, separated bike path along the San Diego Bay. Next will be more dedicated bike paths to the ocean, passing gorgeous Victorian homes, stopping at the famous (and infamous!) Hotel del Coronado. We may even go in for ice cream!
