Speyside Full-Day Private Whisky Tour
This tour can be customised to take you to any of the Speyside Distilleries. We have listed 6 of the most popular but we can take you to any and assist you with tour bookings etc.
We recommend that customers do one actual Distillery tour followed by tastings at 2 or 3 other Distilleries.
A suggested itininerary is as follows.
Leaving Inverness at 8am we travel down to Dufftown in the Heart of Speyside to arrive at the largest producing Distillery in Scotland - Glenfiddich for a Distillery tour and tasting , we then travel to Craigellachie to the Speyside Cooperage to see the skills of the Coopers before we have lunch at the Mash Tun in Aberlour.
Following lunch we travel a short distance to Glenallachie Distillery for a tasting , this Distillery is still in private hands and their 12 year old won the best Scotch Whisky in 2025.
Depending on whichever day the tour is we will stop at either Glenfarclas Distillery or Cardhu Distillery for our final tasting before travelling back.

Your tour will include 1 Distillery tour with any available Distilleries listed in our itinerary. You will then be visiting as many distilleries that you can within the tour duration. They all offer tastings which we leave up to your discretion to enjoy or you can alternatively choose to simply wander about their impressive stunning grounds.
We strongly advise against booking distillery tours on your own, as this can disrupt the tour itinerary. However, if you have already made a booking, please let us know in advance so we can adjust our schedule accordingly.

This tour offers some stunning scenery and plenty of photo opportunities as we 'get away from civilisation'. Travelling through glendevon, the sma' Glen, Glen Quaich and The Trossachs all of which have their own unique landscapes.
Our first stop of the day is at Doune Castle, a 15th century keep. The castle is full of history and has been used in many TV and film productions including Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Outlander and Game of Thrones.
